Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID)
GMS is an AVID School. When students arrive in 6th grade, they work through building organizational skills that will set them up for success no matter their future career choices.
In all grades, students in AVID use the skills and lessons that they have learned to make impacts through end of the year projects and working to solve real world problems. AVID is a mindset that is adapted at our school that puts a focus on hard work, expectation, and success. It is this mindset that develops the culture of our school and sets GMS apart from other schools
